The Life List

These are our lists of things we’d like to do before we kick the bucket. We’ll always be adding to these lists, and hopefully often crossing things off!

JEN’S LIST:

• Participate in La Tomatina
• Drink wine at a Tuscany vineyard
• Learn to play Mandolin
• Grow (and keep alive) fabulous Dahlias and Hydrangeas in my yard
• Take Steve to Europe
• Run through a field of daisies
• Have absolutely no debt, not even a mortgage (We accomplished this, and lived free of payments for 6 months!)
• Completely pay off my home mortgage
  
• Ride a Unicycle as transportation
• Learn to make Sushi
• Spend a good few weeks in Hallstatt, Austria
• Go sky diving
• Learn to make perfect Hollandaise Sauce
• Have a chicken coop in my backyard, for eggs
• Go hang gliding
• Watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee from a porch swing on my own front porch
• Buy a house
• Become really good at Tennis
• Make perfect Pancakes from scratch
• Ride an elephant in Thailand
• Keep bees
• Learn to play “Music for a Found Harmonium” on fiddle like this
• Swim with phosphorescence
• Be part of a spontaneous food fight involving cake
• Travel to Plitvace Lakes National Park in Croatia
• Sew my own clothes
• Ride home from a farmers market on a bike with an attached basket full of fresh produce
• Start running
• Design & make my own purses, and sell them in local boutiques
• Learn fluent German
• Play Bert Jansch’s “Black Waterside” on guitar in a meadow in the mountains
• Eat a beignet at Cafe Du Monde in the French Quarter
• Own my own business
• Visit Meteora, Greece, and spend time in the monasteries there
• Snorkel in the Caribbean
• Pour bubblebath in a raging fountain, and dance in the bubbles
• Have a baby
• Live in another State
• Take silly saloon-style picture @ Lagoon
• Find the hanging bridge Frank based “Bridges” upon.
• Go to NYC with my sisters and see a Broadway play.

• Stand in Sistine Chapel, looking up
• Write & Produce my own CD
• Get in the best shape of my life
• Go to a MLB & NFL game
• Get Married
• Play music in front of huge crowds
• Go to Victor Wooten’s Bass Camp
• Play catch with my Son
• Graduate College
• Become a world-class bass player
• Become a world-class guitar player
• Kiss my baby on the peak of a mountain
• Take a zip line thru the jungle
• Write a novel
• Host & put on a charitable fund raiser
